Naming Ceremony
A custom unique to Lakeland Castle, the Naming Ceremony is held on the first full moon after the birth of a child in the Noble Lord's family. Before the birth, every resident of Lakeland Castle and Lakeland Village is invited to put a name in a great ceremonial vessel. At the Naming Ceremony, held on Blue Island, an honored guest is chosen by the child's parents to pull a name from the vessel, that name then becoming the child’s name.
